Check out our Loans Calculator for an amount and term that suits your business requirements. You will be assigned a Dundalk Credit Union Loan Contact Person once you start your application with us, they will be your point of contact for the whole process.
For loans less than €25,000 you will the following for Income Verification
- 2 years most recent Financial Accounts, verified by an accountant
- Your most recent Chapter 4 Form 11 for Self Assessment
- 3 months Business & Personal Bank Statements
- Documentation re purpose of the loan – this document supports your requirement for the loan – e.g. purchase of equipment, expansion costs, this can be a quotation, a supplier estimate, etc
- If business owner taking a salary, 3 recent Payslips including most recent (or other suitable proofs/records)
- Current Tax Clearance Certificate
For loans greater than €25,000 and up to €50,000 you will need a Business Plan
- Revenue Commissioners tax assessment for the past year
- If business owner taking a salary, 3 recent Payslips including most recent (or other suitable proofs/records)
- 2 years most recent Financial Accounts (if available)
- Documentation re purpose of the loan – this document supports your requirement for the loan – e.g. purchase of equipment, expansion costs, this can be a quotation, a supplier estimate, etc
- We require both your Business & Personal Bank Statements covering the last 6 months
You will also need a Business Plan for loans greater than €25,000. A Sample Business Plan is available to download here
If you have an existing business plan it must include, at a minimum:
- Executive summary
- A company description
- Market analysis
- Current market sector/Market position
- Staffing and operations
- Financial projections including:
- Key assumptions
- Profit & loss accounts
- Balance sheet
- Cash flow projections for 3 years (if appropriate)
- Minimum 2 years financial accounts that clearly set out any existing debt or financial commitments (these should be prepared or/and verified by your accountant)
- Most recent set of management accounts
Once assessment is completed, we will Open a Business Account, you will need the following documentation for this:
Requirements for business account
- A copy of the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the entity
- A list of all the board of directors and their addresses
- An authorised mandate from your board to open the account and those with the authority to operate the account
- ID and address verification for the authorised signatories on the account – Minimum of 2
